Win Metawin and Janella Salvador to Star in ‘Under Parallel Skies’

Thai Boys Love (BL) actor Win Metawin and Filipino actress Janella Salvador will star in a new movie titled “Under Parallel Skies,” announced by film production company 28 Squared Studios.

This marks the second time a Thai star and a Pinay celebrity will team up for a flick, after the 2012 Star Cinema movie “Suddenly It’s Magic” starring Mario Maurer and Erich Gonzales.

“Under Parallel Skies” will be directed by Philippine-based director Sigrid Bernardo, who achieved mainstream success for her hit 2017 film “Kita Kita.”

“The news is out! I’m pregnant again with a new film,” Sigrid said in an Instagram post.

While the production company has yet to unveil the full cast and character names, Janella disclosed on social media that they have already started filming the movie.

“Yup, you heard it right. Now filming,” she said.

Win Metawin came to prominence for starring in the pandemic-born BL series “2gether” alongside Bright Vachirawit in 2020. Meanwhile, Janella Salvador kickstarted her showbiz career in the popular Philippine television series “Be Careful With My Heart” in 2012.
