Hong Kong Denim Festival 2023 Pops Up in Old Textile District, Sham Shui Po

Get ready for the third edition of the Hong Kong Denim Festival, a fashion event paying tribute to its titular textile, funded by CREATEHK and organized by The Hong Kong Design Institute (HKDI).

After a two-year hiatus, this year’s festival is set to celebrate the theme "Denim Frontiers - Global Denim Art & Design Showcase," taking you on an exciting journey into the diverse and creative world of denim.

One of the festival's highlights is The Downtown Denim Bazaar, which will come to life on Ki Lung Street in Sham Shui Po, renowned as the birthplace of the Hong Kong textile industry. This bazaar provides a golden opportunity for the public to dive into the rich history through activities around the Sham Shui Po neighbourhood, exploring its pivotal role in Hong Kong’s textile industry.
