Fri, May 9 - Mon, June 16
11:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Free admission
Discover the true cost of fashion and its potential for transformation at "Redressing the Future," an interactive and multisensory exhibition running from May 9 to June 16 at DX Design Hub in Sham Shui Po. Presented by Redress, this thought-provoking experience invites the public to engage with the environmental challenges of overproduction and overconsumption while showcasing sustainable design solutions that point to a more circular future for fashion.
Through a series of immersive installations, visitors will see the consequences of clothing waste, touch the materials that make up daily wear, and learn about the innovations that are reshaping the fashion landscape. Guests will also have the chance to create their own art piece from damaged clothing, making the exhibition both educational and participatory.
This exhibition is co-organized by the Hong Kong Design Centre and supported by the Creative and Cultural Industries Development Agency. It also commemorates the 15th edition of the Redress Design Award and Get Redressed Month, a city-wide campaign raising awareness about clothing waste since 2018. Admission is free, and walk-ins are welcome during opening hours from 11 AM to 7 PM, Wednesday to Monday.
