Another weekend in Hong Kong is upon us and this spells for a jam-packed schedule of happy hour and cocktail nights, fresh raves and club nights, and dinners and food pop-ups you must not miss. We save you the stress of planning your weekend with our rundown of the best nightlife events this weekend you cannot miss.

1. Clockenflap Official Afterparty at Cassio Featuring Magic Room Squad

With Friday kicking off the mega Clockenflap festival for the first time since 2018, tunes are set to continue late into the night on Day 1 of Hong Kong’s returning home-grown event at Cassio, where Magic Room will be bringing the vibes from 11PM till late.

The club line-up for the afterparty is an intimate Hong Kong affair, inviting 852-based DJs Leon (FR), Moshi, music producer and DJ Milam, Lydia Nadia of Magic Room troupe, and music director of Cassio, Nino, to hit the tracks for funky house all night long!

When: 11PM till 5AM, Mar. 3

2. Subtropical Pleasures Dance Party Welcomes N.Y.P.D and Yeti Out

Yeti Out’s creative director and music magnificoes Arthur Bray joins the March madness fun and spring heat to kick off with a saucy tropics party at the exclusive Fringe club with a local line-up featuring rock group Nan Yang Pai Dui (N.Y.P.D) after a mega Clockenflap performance.

Alongside N.Y.P.D, local indie band Biascut is set to play a live set with Shanghai’s Charity SsB. DJ Healthy, CELL, Arthur Yeti and Subez will be on the decks to spin tunes from late night to till morning.

3. Traffic Light Party Bonanza with Hong Kong Rapper ANGO at Zentral

Hong Kong’s ANGO, best known for releasing ‘Say Yes’ with rapper YPU Z and YPU ROSE, brings his swagger to Zentral for a cheeky traffic light party to bring in the month with some fun.

Wear a ‘red’ wristband if you’re occupied, ‘yellow’ if your love life is a maybe tonight, or ‘green’ if you’re available to meet and greet. Music on the night brings in everything from hip hop, house, techno, DnB, and EDM tunes, to K-pop, Canto rap and club classics. Buy tickets here to enter the house of fun.

4. Spinnin’ Sessions at Zeus Featuring DJ Tujamo and Pajane

International party events group Spinnin’ Sessons swings over to Hong Kong shores for the first time on Friday as the tunes and mega-influence of DJ Tujamo and Pajane rock up to Zeus to bring electric German tech house and big room tunes to Lan Kwai Fong.

Matthias Richter, also known as Tujamo, has played with some of the best in the industry, Steve Aoki, Like Mike, Kid Ink to name a few, and arrives for his debut in Hong Kong to drop tracks ‘Drop That Low’, ‘Booty Bounce’, ‘Lonely’. Tickets are available on Eventbrite to purchase.

5. The Good4Tune Show Presented by Blocpartygroup Hits The Aftermath

Indie rap label Good4Tune will make their first ever live performance debut at The Aftermath performing a wide range of self-written hip hop, trap, and R&B-tunes, organised by Blocpartygroup.

The rap squadron bring some good local Hong Kong flavours to the underground venue for hours of new and upcoming music from the new label. Expect a list of secret international guest acts and performances to also show up!

When: 10PM till 2AM, Mar. 3

6. South Korea’s CAMO Brings New Album to Department & Co.

Seoul’s new hip-hop figure CAMO waves her South Korean flag at Lan Kwai’s site for rap, Department & Co. The up-and-coming rapper and songwriter is holding her first show in Hong Kong promoting tunes from her newly announced album, ‘Pressure Makes Diamonds’.

The Hong Kong-born CAMO caught eyes in the music scene in South Korea with her party anthem ‘Life is Wet’ in early 2020, taking over 14 million views on YouTube. She made her international debut on the music scene with her EP ‘ICE’ in March 2020, before going on her first North American tour in August 2022. Snap tickets here.

7. PUINAM and SINAM of NAMXSIS DJ Duo Bring the House Down at Space

Macau’s legendary femme DJ sister duo NAXSIS of Puinam and Sinam Ip will be coming down to Hong Kong again for their first show of 2023 at Space Club to show off some 853 vibes and hardcore tunes all night.

The sister crew are legendary for their upbeat vibes and ambiance created on the dancefloor and Saturday will be no different. Expect thumping dubstep, hardstyle, big room house and electronic hits. Better cop your tickets here to catch the girls.

8. Mongolia’s Awarzed Awaraa Guest Shifts at The Social Den

Mongolian mixologist Awarzed Awaraa, founder of Bharmoney and Grazie Restaurant in capital city Ulaanbaatar, finds himself in Hong Kong at The Social Den, crafting a series of unique speciality cocktails with Mongolian influence and recipes.

Following his crowning of as National Champion of the 2022 Sustainable cocktail competition “FLOR DE CANA", Awaraa braves the SoHo bar with his masterful craft that makes him one of the top mixers in Mongolia.

When: 8PM till late, Mar. 4

9. Smoke Machine Night with Diskonnected from Taiwan at Mihn Club

Diskonnected, hailing from the southern city of Kaohsiung in Taiwan, is back in Mihn Club after a smashing New Year’s Eve bonanza, joining Sheung Wan’s residents to provide a verifiable masterclass in spacey techno all Saturday night.

The man behind Taiwan’s legendary Organik festival and having toured around Asia, USA and Europe with his sick bangers, Mihn Club is set for a fat six-hour set with the man behind the newest and hottest techno podcast in Asia, ‘了然瑞迪歐’.

10. OMA Hong Kong Presents After Flap Session II

After each night of Clockenflap festivities, OMA on the Pottinger steps will be hosting an exclusive ‘After Flap Session’ to compliment the electric tunes and vibrations coming out of the harbourside festival in Central.

Local DJs Jeremy Cheung, Christian, and Major Tom joins hands together for a smashing night at the electronic club that will bring on vibes from Clockenflap up the slope to dance away Saturday in techy style.
