Spot Scam to Stop Scam! Banks Launch First-Ever Immersive Anti-Scam Event
Scammers are indeed working extra hard with their new tactics and schemes, but the Association of Banks in Malaysia (ABM) and the Association of Islamic Banking and Financial Institutions Malaysia (AIBIM) are also continuously creating ways to combat scams with their joint campaign #JanganKenaScam, along with Bank Negara Malaysia, to educate Malaysians on how to spot scams and stop scams.
Launching the first-ever immersive scam education roadshow in the country, the campaign will feature interactive booths and informative exhibitions where visitors can learn more about various scamming schemes, from phone scams to large-scale scams.
The whole educational roadshow is designed to be an informative yet fun experience. Upon entering the event space, visitors can access their digital passports, where they can get e-stamps at each booth they visit. By collecting all the required e-stamps, participants can then redeem special event-exclusive rewards or goodies.
Aside from booths, the roadshow will feature appearances by renowned personalities who pledge to fight against scams.
Get educated and have fun at #JanganKenaScam Fest at the Oval Concourse in 1 Utama until Nov. 19. For more information, check out the event's official website.
