City ROARS! Festival to Spotlight Asia's Independent Artists on April 29-30
Lovers of music, City ROARS! Festival is making a return this April, gathering Asia's independent artists to showcase their music and share ideas about their craft.
The City ROARS! Festival is organised by Kuala Lumpur-based promoter Soundscape Records, Don Tai Du, and Taiwanese label Emerge Music. While the festival last year was held at the Zepp Kuala Lumpur, this year's event will take place at the Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre (KLPAC) and Zepp KL over the course of two days.
On April 29-30, expect a full-fledged event with tons of performances on multiple stages from 2 PM-11:30 PM. The bigger festival comes at an apt time as COVID-19 cases globally and in Malaysia have shown a downward trend, making this the moment of recovery for the live music sector.
On the first day, artists Masdo, Damn Dirty Apes, Muck, Pitahati, An Honest Mistake, and many more will be taking over the stage at KLPAC, while Isyana Sarasvati, Monoloque, Haru Nemuri, and Lilium will be performing on the second day at Zepp KL.
Presale tickets, priced at RM138, are available until April 28 via CloudJoi. Tickets at the door may also be purchased for RM160 each.
