Good Vibes Festival Returns to Kuala Lumpur in July 2024
Mark your calendars, music lovers! Good Vibes Festival, one of Malaysia’s biggest music festivals, has announced its return this year.
Slated to take place from July 20 to 21 at the Resorts World Awana, this year’s Good Vibes Festival marks its 11th iteration.
This follows the festival’s controversial 10th anniversary run last year, which was cancelled due to The 1975 frontman Matty Healy’s on-stage kiss with bandmate Ross MacDonald during the band’s headlining set, violating the country’s anti-LGBT laws.
This year's lineup includes headliners Japanese singer-songwriter Joji, American rapper and producer Russ, Colombian act J Balvin, and South Korean DJ Peggy Gou. They will be joined by various artists from in and out of Asia, including South Korea's Bibi, Tiger JK, Yoon Mirae, Filipina singer Ylona Garcia, and Malaysia's very own Talitha., among other names.
Tickets will be available starting May 10 via Ticketmelon, with prices ranging from RM290 to RM1,050.
Launched in 2013, Good Vibes Festival’s inaugural edition was first staged at the Sepang International Circuit in Selangor. Previous editions featured performances from some of the biggest names in music, including Ellie Goulding, SZA, Lorde, CL, and Jackson Wang.
