J-Pop fans are in for a treat this August as popular Japanese idol girl group AKB48 is set to grace Kuala Lumpur for their “First Cry” group live concert!
Happening on Aug. 18 at the Zepp Kuala Lumpur, the concert is expected to bring the members’ charms and hit tracks, including a live performance of AKB48’s latest single, “Koi Tsun Jatta (恋 詰んじゃった)."
Prior to the concert, some of their members, including Takahashi Ayane, Iwatate Saho, Nagano Serika, Hashimoto Haruna, Fukuoka Seina, and Sakagawa Hiyuka, will also be making an appearance at the LaLaport Bon Odori Festival, which will be held on July 27 to 28 and Aug. 3 to 4.
However, as of this writing, there are no details yet on which date the AKB48 members will be dropping by the festival. AKB48 makes their return to Kuala Lumpur following their appearance at the LaLaport Sakura Festival earlier this year.
