This 'Detective Conan' Exhibition Is Coming to Kuala Lumpur in December
Ready to unleash your inner Shinichi Kudo? If you are, great news, because a “Detective Conan” exhibition is coming to Kuala Lumpur this December!
The exhibition, which is in celebration of the popular Japanese manga and anime series’ 30th anniversary, will run from Dec. 6 to Feb. 16 at the Pavilion Bukit Jalil. Aside from Kuala Lumpur, the exhibition has also been touring across Japan, as well as Ho Chi Minh City, Taipei, Seoul, and Shanghai.
There are no details yet on what the Kuala Lumpur leg will feature, but fans can expect to be mesmerized by themed areas that highlight the series’ 30-year legacy, like in its previous stops.
Early bird tickets to the “Detective Conan 30th Anniversary Exhibition” will be available via Ticketek from Nov. 22 to Dec. 5, priced at RM40. A special package, worth RM150, will also be available on said dates, inclusive of a limited-edition Detective Conan 30th Anniversary Acrylic Stand.
Meanwhile, general admission tickets, to be sold on-site beginning Dec. 6, are priced at RM30 (Conan Ticket, for guests below 103 centimeters) and RM45 (adults).
First published in 1994, “Detective Conan” is a popular Japanese mystery and thriller series that follows Shinichi Kudo, a young high school detective whose body shrunk into a kid after being force-fed an experimental drug by crime syndicate Black Organization. Adopting the pseudonym Conan Edogawa, he keeps his true identity while solving crimes with his friends.
