Get a Taste of Luxury at Else, Kuala Lumpur’s Newest Boutique Hotel

Else hotel kl featuredPhoto by Website/Else

Locals and explorers of Kuala Lumpur probably experienced something else (pun intended) with the opening of the city’s trendiest new hotel in early 2022.

The hotel occupies the historic Lee Rubber Building from the 1930s and has been tastefully rebuilt to promote mindful hospitality to a new generation of conscious travellers. The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Chinatown, where heritage and culture abound.

Else boasts sophisticated interiors, featuring soft palettes and natural textures that epitomise modern living.

If you are an old soul, the Mantra Room is perfect for you because of its quaint interior, which exudes peace and quiet while still immersed in the bustling world of Chinatown. Nevertheless, the Urban and Sanctuary Rooms are your best bet if you're seeking a more private and magnificent room with a view of Petaling Street's lively neighbourhood.

For an extra level of opulence, the Sutera and Else Suites are complete with a separate living room and a private balcony, and other high-end in-suite amenities. Prices range between RM450-RM1,800 depending on the length of stay and number of guests. To book your stay, go here.

To complete your Else experience, the Raw Kitchen Hall and Yellow Fin Horse will treat you to a sumptuous feast. It is an extension of its sister brand, Raw Kitchen Bar in Singapore, serving modern Latin-Asian luxury comfort food from breakfast and brunch to a set lunch and dinner menu.

The Yellow Fin Horse, on the other hand, is a contemporary restaurant known for its “ever-evolving” food selection depending on the best available seasonal ingredients. Its menu is brimming with foods that are deeply fermented and cooked over wood fire, paired with natural wines.

To experience Else’s transportive and restorative luxury treats, visit its official website.
