Seiko Unveils the SEA Exclusive Prospex Alpinist, Inspired by Snowy Peaks

Japanese watchmaker Seiko has unveiled the newest addition to its Seiko Prospex legacy, the Prospex Alpinist SPB532J1.
This limited-edition watch is exclusive to Southeast Asia by the Thong Sia Group, drawing inspiration from the pristine beauty of snowy mountain peaks. With only 800 pieces available across Malaysia, Brunei, Hong Kong, Macau, and Singapore, the model reimagines the beloved Alpinist line with its winter beauty.
The Prospex Alpinist SPB532J1 stands out with its meticulously crafted ice-white dial, finished with an elegant “powder” effect that perfectly mirrors the look of fallen snow. Lumibrite and a box-shaped sapphire crystal complete the design with a blend of elegance and endurance, perfectly made for both sports enthusiasts and collectors.

The timepiece is built with a 39.5mm stainless steel case, with a solid 200-meter water resistance and screw-down crowns that make it ready for urban adventures and outdoor extremes. The SPB532J1 is powered by the Caliber 6R35, offering an impressive 70-hour power reserve that ensures precision and reliability even for demanding excursions.
Complementing it is a beautiful blue textured nylon strap, capturing the chill of the peaks and the serenity above the clouds. Each watch comes in a special edition box, underscoring its limited-edition status, and is priced at RM3,900 (US$1,127.10)
The watch officially launched during the Seiko Diver’s Watch 60th Anniversary Event last Nov. 3 to 9, 2025, in Kuala Lumpur, and is now available at authorized Seiko dealers and boutiques.
