Malaysia has welcomed its first-ever digital banking platform, as Grab-led company GXBank has officially launched its services in the country.

In a LinkedIn post, the company unveiled that it is the first out of five digital license applicants to be given the go-ahead to operate by Bank Negara Malaysia and the Minister of Finance. Since its launch on Nov. 30, the bank has already hit 100,000 customers and is still growing in numbers.

To celebrate its launch, the bank is offering RM20 cashback to users depositing a minimum of RM100 from today until Jan. 7.

Users who sign up for a GX account via DuitNow will also receive RM8 instant cashback, while users who link their accounts to Grab will get up to RM29.40 worth of GrabUnlimited subscription cashback.

Aside from this, GXBank is also launching its own unlimited cashback card in January 2024, with which users can earn unlimited 1% cashback every time they pay with the GXBank debit card.

The GXBank app is available for download via Google Play and App Store. Download the app or visit its website to subscribe or learn more about its exciting offerings and features!
