When it comes to choices, you’ll never run out of dishes to try at buffets. But sometimes, having too many options can be overwhelming. At Misto, the choices for appetizers, mains, and desserts are just right, allowing you to try most of what’s on offer.

For starters, there’s freshly baked bread that you can pair with soups, or if you want something refreshing, salads are also available. You can have the salad prepared at one of the stations or you can assemble your own, depending on your preference. There are also small glasses filled with pre-prepared greens, so all you have to do is grab an entrée and bring it to your table. The Pesto Potato Salad is filling and full of flavor, making it a perfect meal starter.

There are also maki and sushi selections, including California and vegetarian options, allowing you to fill your plate with different kinds in one go. After sampling the appetizers, the main dishes await. Misto’s lunch buffet features "specials of the day," giving you rice, pasta, and heavier fare. During our visit, we were able to try the Gambas & Chorizo and Beef Salpicao, two flavorful dishes that went well with the Adobo Rice. Each spoonful of rice complements the tender Gambas and savory Salpicao.

If you’re a fan of pasta, you can also chance upon a serving during your visit. We tried the Puttanesca Pasta and weren’t disappointed with the ingredients used. The star of the buffet is, without a doubt, the grilling station. Take your pick from the fresh seafood and meats that the chef can cook on the spot according to your liking. The Seafood Skewer was succulent to the bite, while the Grilled Beef Tenderloin was filling enough to be enjoyed on its own.

If you’re a certified seafood fanatic, you shouldn’t miss the fresh lobster and Salmon with Crispy Onion. Each guest is allowed to pick only one grilled item that will be served as soon as it’s cooked, while the rest of the food choices are unlimited.

A word of advice: Leave room for dessert. Misto’s lunch buffet features sweet treats that have just the right sweetness and will leave you with a contented palate. The mini cakes are moist and satisfying, guaranteed to deliver sheer bliss after every bite. You shouldn’t miss the Caramelized Pecan Tart, the Mars Cake, and the Banana Mousse Cake. There are different flavors of ice cream you can try, too.
