Join JCI's Electric Night Run for Hope 2024 to Help Build Night Shelter

Lace up your sneakers and get ready to join the JCI Electric Night Run for Hope 2024 and hit the streets for a cause that truly matters. Slated to happen on May 18 at Filinvest, Alabang, you can join the 1-kilometer, 3-kilometer, or 5-kilometer run and help ignite change and transform the lives of the people in need at Hospicio de San Jose.

Running and staying active is fun, except when the sun is burning and it’s humid outside – but don’t worry, the event starts at 9 PM. Aside from the fun run itself, there will be a fun music fest after where you can sing along with your fellow joiners or dance the night away with your friends.

Last year, they hosted the Color Run for Education 2023, where over 4,000 runners joined. With its success, they were able to help construct school buildings for Monic Elementary School.

The fundraising event aims to gather 6,000 to 8,000 runners and help build and improve the Night Shelter of Hospicio de San Jose – an overnight refuge for homeless individuals and families. For those who are not familiar with the nonprofit organization, they aid abandoned and neglected children and elderly people – so, if you love running, might as well run for a good cause, too!
