BoxStage Manila Presents 'Tagay Para sa Ex'
Raise a glass to “Tagay Para Sa Ex” on Aug. 8, 13, 15, and 22, and Sept. 5, 2026, with 3 PM and 7 PM shows, at the Far Eastern University (FEU) Center for the Arts Studio.
Presented by Boxstage Manila and the FEU Center for the Arts, this intimate play follows five professionals whose casual drinking session turns into a revealing conversation about love, heartbreak, ambition, and the choices that shape their lives. Inspired by Raymond Carver’s “What We Talk About When We Talk About Love,” the production blends humor, honesty, and emotional depth as long-buried truths come to the surface.

PhilStagers Theater Foundation Presents 'RIZAL 3000'
Experience a bold reimagining of the Philippines' national hero with “RIZAL 3000” on Aug. 8, 2026, from 6 PM, and Aug. 9, 2026, from 5 PM, at St. Cecilia’s Hall in St. Scholastica's College.
Presented by Philstagers Theatre Foundation Inc., this original musical transports Dr. José Rizal’s ideals into a futuristic world where technology, identity, and freedom collide. Written and directed by Vince Tañada with music by Pipo Cifra, the production combines powerful songs, imaginative storytelling, and thought-provoking themes that connect Rizal’s legacy with the challenges of a new era.
Tickets for the Manila performances are priced at P1,000 before the show continues on a nationwide tour through April 2027.
Teatro Kaugnay Presents 'Liyab!'
Celebrate the courage and sacrifices that shaped a nation with “Liyab!” from Aug. 13 to 14, 2026, with 2 PM and 7 PM shows at The Metropolitan Theater.
Presented by Teatro Kaugnay and performed by 50 artist-soldiers from the Philippine Army’s 7th Infantry (Kaugnay) Division, this original musical brings the stories of Gabriela Silang, Dr. José P. Rizal, Andres Bonifacio, and Brigadier General Vicente Lim to life through stirring music, choreography, and storytelling. Guided by Sisa as the symbolic voice of the Filipino Motherland, the production explores patriotism, sacrifice, and freedom while drawing inspiration from “Noli Me Tangere” and “El Filibusterismo.”

Mad Child Productions Presents ‘Mga Binago ng Araw’
Relive the friendships, first loves, and defining moments of youth with “Mga Binago ng Araw” from Aug. 14 to 16 and 22 to 23, 2026, at the Fine Arts Blackbox Theater in Ateneo de Manila University.
Presented by Mad Child Productions, this play with music follows a tight-knit group of friends navigating the joys and heartbreaks of adolescence in 2005, set against a backdrop of pop-punk anthems, summer adventures, and life-changing conversations.
Through humor, nostalgia, and heartfelt storytelling, the production captures how memories evolve and how the people who shape our youth remain part of us long after growing up. Tickets are priced at P1,700.
The Sandbox Collective Presents 'People, Places & Things'

This acclaimed play by Duncan Macmillan follows actress Emma as she enters rehabilitation after a personal and professional crisis, forcing her to confront addiction, identity, and the truths she has long avoided. Infinite Cantina Presents 'Saglit Lang' (Re-run)

Written by BJ Crisostomo and directed by Dr. Anton Juan, this moving production follows a young artist and a maestro as they journey through stories of memory, history, love, and the enduring power of theater. Staged as a tribute to theater educator Dr. Ricardo G. Abad, the play offers a heartfelt reflection on the art form’s lasting impact on generations of performers and audiences.
Tickets are P1,000, with a 20% discount for students, senior citizens, and PWDs. Proceeds from the special benefit show on Aug. 22 at 7 PM will support the Ricardo G. Abad Endowment Fund for Sciences and the Arts in the Ateneo.
Act Avenue x Coffee Chapters Presents 'Patlang'
Step into the cozy world of "PATLANG" on Aug. 22 and 29, 2026, from 7 PM to 9 PM, at Coffee Chapters in Pasay City.
Presented by Act Avenue as part of Coffee Chapters’ 3rd anniversary celebration, this café theater experience blends original Filipino storytelling, live music, dance, poetry, and meaningful conversations in an intimate setting. Enjoy three original one-act plays, “Stop Over” and “I’m Fine, Darling,” written by Alex Baylon, and “The Interview,” written by Kim Anthony Vergara, each offering heartfelt reflections on friendship, love, personal growth, and unexpected encounters.

The Playbook Club Presents 'A Midsummer Night’s Dream' (Re-run)
Get ready to be swept into a world of romance, mischief, and magic with “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” on Aug. 22 to 23, 2026, at Mirror Theatre Studios in Makati.
This special rerun of Shakespeare’s beloved comedy follows four young lovers and a troupe of amateur actors whose lives are turned upside down by fairies, enchantments, and mistaken identities in an enchanted forest. Directed by Nelsito Gomez, the Aug. 22 performance starts at 8 PM, while Aug. 23 will have shows at 1 PM, 4:30 PM, and 8 PM. Expect 90 minutes of humor, romance, and theatrical charm.

Marking YPC Stage’s first major production, this collection of three one-act plays by Palanca-winning playwright Eljay Castro Deldoc explores love, longing, heartbreak, truth, and resilience through deeply human and emotionally layered stories.
Featuring acclaimed performers Gab Pangilinan, Ross Pesigan, Phi Palmos, and Kokoy de Santos, the production brings together “Ang Liknayan ng Ating mga Katawan,” “Ilihan at Kalingaw: Ang Lihim na Istorya ng mga Buringkantada,” and “Ganito ang Pinangarap Kong Kasal” for a bittersweet theatrical experience. On Your Feet! The Story of Emilio & Gloria Estefan
