The Ortigas Art Festival returns for its ninth year, taking over Greenhills GH Mall with two weeks of art exhibitions, live performances, and more, running from July 16 to July 31, 2026.

This year, the theme is "Elevate," fitting for a multi-sensory program that folds visual art, film, photography, dance, and live performances. Looking at the stacked lineup, visitors will be treated to works of National Artists Virgilio Almario (literature) and Salvador Bernal (theater design). Junyee, this year's featured artist, along with Agos Studio and the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP), complete the gallery roster. They are also joined by regional artist collectives from Rizal, Pasig, and Mindoro.

Photography gets its own moment with an exhibit by Born in Film. On the performance side, the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra and Ballet Barre bring energy, music, and movement to the people.

Programming is spread across the South Wing Atrium, the East Wing Atrium, the 4/F Tech Hub, and the Cinema 4 Promenade. Wear sneakers!

The Queer Table PHPhoto by Instagram/ The Queer Table PH

Ditch the apps! The Queer Table PH is foregoing digital dating and turning matchmaking into a live event — and the pool is all queer women!

Manila-based LGBTQIA+ community organization is hosting "Pitch, Please," a live presentation night where attendees pitch their single sapphic friends to a room full of queer women. The promise is simple: show up, build a presentation on your single sapphic best friend, and make the case to a roomful of queer women. Think of it as a pitch competition, except you might walk away with a date!

Candidates appearing on screen must be single queer women aged 25 and older. Everyone else is welcome to attend.

The event is organized by The Queer Table PH, a community organization built around creating intentional events and safe spaces for queer women. Their ethos is "You can sit with us."

Polilya, a Poblacion fixture since 2017, is known for their spin on classic cocktails, many using Filipino ingredients, and craft beers. One free drink is included with each ticket, and their menu offers plenty of options to set the mood before the evening's main feature.

As the Queer Table put it: "Let's get that third-wheel hitched so they can finally stop complaining about being single at 2 AM on a random Tuesday."

Registration is now open via the link in their bio.

Proscenium Theater Teases an Evening with John Legend This September

John LegendPhoto by John Legend/Instagram

Manila might be getting "All of Me" soon?

Proscenium Theater in Rockwell, Makati dropped a cryptic teaser on Instagram this week that had fans cautiously spiraling with a silhouette that looks close to EGOT (Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony Award) winner John Legend.

The caption: "Save room for love this September. A night of pure soul comes to Manila. This time, more intimate and up close."

[Editor's Update] It's confirmed. John Legend is adding a Manila stop to his tour! Proscenium dropped more details in their Instagram post. The legendary singer will be performing in the Proscenium Theater on Sept. 3 and 4, 2026. Tickets are set to go on sale on July 5.

John Legend Manila stop
Photo from Instagram/Proscenium Theater

John Legend is currently midway through a globe-spanning run of his "An Evening with John Legend: A Night of Songs & Stories" tour. The deliberately intimate theater format is built around piano-driven music paired with personal storytelling, rather than an arena-sized spectacle.

The tour launched in the United States this past spring, taking Legend through intimate venues all over America. He is also going to make his way through Europe with stops in Athens, Rome, Rotterdam, and beyond. His nearest confirmed upcoming date to the Philippines is a stop in Doha, Qatar, on Sept. 10, 2026.

If Manila were to be included on the tour, or a high-caliber tribute to match the spirit, Proscenium Theater would be an apt venue. Nestled inside Rockwell Center in Makati City, the theater seats fewer than 800 people. With its intimate layout and natural acoustics, Legend's songs will carry clearly to every seat.

For now, Proscenium is asking fans to stay tuned for more details. Follow them on Instagram to find out more soon.
