PSA: TESDA Is Adding Content Creation Courses in Their Training Centers
Gone are the days when spending time browsing social media is regarded as unproductive. Got a knack for taking feed-worthy photos and videos? Turn it into a career opportunity! With the increase of social media influence, the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) has decided to add content creation courses for people who want to learn the ins and outs of the industry.
TESDA Secretary Suharto T. Mangudadatu, Ph.D., announced that the agency has created competency standards for Content Creation (Social Media) Level III in collaboration with Social Media Broadcasters ng Pilipinas, Inc. Suharto encouraged vocational training centers to use these competency standards to develop appropriate training programs.
Whether you want to learn it as a hobby or for a full-time job, the upcoming course can help you achieve the qualifications needed to become a social media content creator. It dives into discovering the type of content fit for you, generating concepts for posting, and learning how to propagate your content to reach more people.
That’s not all! The course will also cover photo, audio, and video editing, which are perfect for TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, and even YouTube. It also aims to help you learn how to use equipment such as a camera, chroma screen, microphone, and more for better content quality.
Be the first to enroll when they roll them out! Follow TESDA’s Facebook page for updates.
