Nightlife SGP: WayV Fanmeeting Tour [Phantom], Plus 9 More Hot Events

1. WayV Fanmeeting Tour [Phantom]

WayV, a Chinese boy band and the fourth overall sub-unit of the South Korean male vocal group NCT, is coming to Singapore to perform multiple chart-topping tracks from their “Phantom” album. Kun, Ten, Xiaojun, Hendery, and Yangyang will join the fanmeeting tour to chat and play games with their WayZenNis (fandom name).

2. Shila Amzah ‘Journey To The Future’ Live Tour 2023

Asia's Sweetheart Shila Amzah will hit the road with her first tour, “Journey To The Future," since giving birth to her first child in 2019. 

In an interview with Bandwagon Asia on May 3, the multilingual artist said that the tour is about motherhood and human connections through different languages. Expect a setlist full of Mandapop music, Mandarin ballads, and other chart-topping hits from the Malaysian singer.

3. Pelago's Silent Disco Full Moon Party

Ever experienced partying in a hushed setting? Pelago gotchu! This exclusive Silent Disco event is a revolutionary party in which guests wear headphones tuned to their preferred channel.

The blue light will let you shake a leg in electronic dance music, the red light for rock music, and the green light for disco grooves. 4. Damien Rice Asian Tour in Singapore

Irish singer-songwriter Damien Rice will be serenading the Singaporean crowd this Saturday as part of his Asian tour this year. 

Rice started his music career as vocalist for a band called Juniper before embarking on being a solo artist. Some of his chart-topping hits are “Cannonball,” “Volcano,” and “I Don’t Want to Change You,” among others.

When: June 3

5. The Powerpuff Parade

Sugar, spice and everything nice? More like a night filled with sass, style, and everything wild! The Powerpuff Parade is an “explosive night of kitschy fun” combined with electrifying music and pulsating beats.

The party will be hosted by three best friends who are on a crusade to save the world through the power of parties. Kuala Lumpur’s hottest DJs Lzzy (Bubbles), Rimka (Blossom), and Jonnyvicious (Buttercup) will be spinning the trendiest tunes. Be sure to come dressed in pink, blue, and green!

6. Aaron Kwok: Amazing Kode World Tour 2023

Dubbed Hong Kong’s “King of Stage,” Aaron Kwok will bring his dance-pop music to the Lion City as part of his two-night concert. 

Fans surely won’t get enough of his contagious energy and famous choreography, which includes his songs “Crazy City,” “Generation Next,” “Love’s Calling,” and of course, the iconic “I Love You Forever.” As of writing, concert tickets are already sold out. 7. BoyWithUke 2023 Asia Tour in Singapore

A dark-coloured face shield, two wide LED eyes, and a mysterious persona. Get ready to jam with American alt-pop viral sensation BoyWithUke as he will be performing his eclectic sounds to the Lion City on Monday.

The TikTok hitmaker rose to fame for creating impromptu songs based on his viewers’ requests and is known to write music about bad friends and long-distance relationships. Some of his most notable songs are “Toxic,” “IDGAF,” “Understand,” “Sick of U,” and “Out of Reach,” among others.

When: June 5

8. Jigger & Pony Welcomes Jimmy Barrat and Laura Marnich From Ergo Dubai

Global Bar Development Director of the Zuma group Jimmy Barrat and Ergo Dubai General Manager Laura Marnich will be the guest shift at Jigger & Pony this Wednesday. 

The cocktail club features a good ambience of “non-futuristic elements and a nostalgic urbanity,” which will transport patrons back to the heyday of signature cocktail drinks. For reservations, click here

9. Jo Koy World Tour in Singapore

Filipino-American stand-up comedian Joseph Glenn Herbert Sr., popularly known as Jo Koy, will fill your Thursday with unlimited laughter. Jo Koy is known for his sold-out shows where he pulls out jokes about his family, specifically his son and mother. Jo Koy also takes pride in his roots by educating his audiences about the intricacies of Filipino culture and tradition.

When: 7 PM, June 8

10. Queer Trivia Night: Pride Fever Edition

Everyone, especially the queer community, is invited to join a party with trivia night about music, current affairs, sports, history, movies, and general knowledge. There will also be a retro music jam and shenanigans all night long.
