2NE1 Adds Kuala Lumpur, Macau, and Ho Chi Minh to Asia Tour

More BlackJacks now have the chance to see 2NE1 on their 2024-2025 “Welcome Back" tour!

On Nov. 6, YG Entertainment and 2NE1 announced that they have added more cities and dates to the Asian leg of their world tour, bringing the total to 12 cities and 25 show dates. The newly added cities are Kuala Lumpur, Ho Chi Minh, and Macau.

2NE1 has already sold out 19 out of 25 of their shows, which include all their show dates in South Korea, Japan, Philippines, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Thailand.

2NE1 entered the K-Pop scene with their debut single, “Fire.” The quartet followed up with “I Don’t Care” in 2009 and later secured their spot as one of the most influential K-Pop groups (or the “Queens of K-pop”) with their 2011 song “I Am The Best.”

The quartet is also credited for being the pioneers of the “girl crush” concept in K-pop, veering away from the “soft, girly” concepts in girl groups that dominated that period. 2NE1 disbanded in 2016, after being on hiatus for a year and Minzy’s departure from YG Entertainment. In April 2022, 2NE1 reunited during CL’s set for a performance at the Coachella music fesetival.

Earlier this year, YG Entertainment announced that 2NE1 will be reuniting for their 15th anniversary.

Stay updated about 2NE1’s tour through YG’s official pages on X (Formerly Twitter), Instagram, and the official tour page.

M2 M Photo by Facebook/@marit2marion

It’s true that we’ve been crying since the day they went away. But after 22 years, M2M is returning to the stage for a highly anticipated tour across Southeast Asia!

The Norwegian pop duo and childhood friends, Marit Larsen and Marion Ravn, posted on social media last Oct. 19 the announcement for their first headlining tour titled, “The Better Endings Tour” set to kick off next year. No dates and cities were disclosed in the caption, only a purple world map poster with the Southeast Asian region — specifically the Philippines, Thailand, and Indonesia shaded in pink.

“See you in three months and a hundred days (we’ve missed you in a thousand ways)! 💜,” the duo wrote, causing a celebration among their fans who were teased back in September when they reunited and performed an acoustic cover of their hit single, “The Day You Went Away.” The caption for the post said, “Let’s give this story a better ending…” Little did their fans know that it was already a tour easter egg.

On Oct. 19, they announced their stop in Manila which will take place on May 1, 2025, at the Araneta Coliseum. Tickets go on sale on Oct. 26 (12 PM PST) via TicketNet.ph. Tickets are priced at P5,800 (VIP), P5,300 (Patron A), P4,800 (Patron A), P3,800 (Lower Box A), P2,800 (Lower Box B), P1,800 (Upper Box B), and P900 (General Admission – *Free Seating).

M2M debuted in 1999 with their single “Don’t Say You Love Me,” which gave way to their album “Shades of Purple” a year later. It included some of their most beloved pop hits such as “Mirror Mirror” and “Pretty Boy” and sold over 1.5 million units worldwide. After their initial success, the duo parted ways in 2002 to pursue solo careers, which only left us wanting more and eager for a reunion.
