B&B Italia’s Outdoor Series Brings Thailand’s Nong Nooch Garden Anywhere
Italy’s Piero Lissoni and B&B Italia have recently launched the Nooch, a modular seating system that embodies sustainability and luxury in the outdoors. The name Nooch is inspired by the tropical botanical garden of Nong Nooch in Thailand, serving as the collection's organic and natural inspiration.
Nooch offers infinite combinations through its two base modules; including a rectangular section measuring 136 x 95 CM, and a square module measuring 95 x 95 CM. Both are equipped with aluminium tops with slats where the cushions rest and can be fitted with backrests and armrests for extra relaxation. These modules can be arranged as freestanding units or attached together via special interlocking joints, creating a variety of configurations that cater to different spaces and needs.
The collection also includes a low table with a square or rectangular base and a top in serpentine stone or enamelled lava stone in colours, clay, sage, and ocean blue. The frame is encased by tubular aluminium elements with semi-gloss varnish in the same colours as the seats, giving a sleek look that’s still practical.
