Netflix's Formula 1: Drive to Survive Set to Return for Fifth Season
Netflix's Formula 1: Drive to Survive is set to return for its fifth season on February 24th, coinciding with the three-day preseason test for this year's F1 calendar. The series, which has helped make the motorsport a bigger deal in the US, has released a teaser focusing on the major rule changes for the 2022 season.
The 2022 FIA Formula One World Championship saw significant changes to the sport's technical regulations, and reigning Drivers' Champion Max Verstappen claimed his second title at the Japanese Grand Prix. Red Bull Racing achieved their fifth World Constructor Championship, and first since 2013, at the following United States Grand Prix.
The season was the final for four-time World Champion Sebastian Vettel, and seven-time World Champion Lewis Hamilton endured a difficult season with Mercedes, failing to secure either a pole position or Grand Prix win during the season.
