Atarashii Gakko! to Hold First World Tour, Includes Stops in Asia
J-Pop fans, get ready to hear Atarashii Gakko’s music and witness their energetic performances live. The Japanese girl group is embarking on their first world tour, including six stops in Asia!
The quartet will kick off the first leg of their tour in seven cities in Europe, followed by shows in Seoul on June 19, Kuala Lumpur on June 21, Bangkok on June 23, Hong Kong on June 25, Taipei on June 27, and Singapore on June 29.
Tickets to the group’s Bangkok and Hong Kong shows will be available starting April 2, while ticketing for their Singapore stop will be available today, March 21. Meanwhile, ticketing details for the Kuala Lumpur show are yet to be unveiled.
More dates and stops will be announced soon, according to Atarashii Gakko’s social media post.
The “Tokyo Calling” act’s inaugural world tour follows the release of their latest song, “Ghostbusters: Frozen Summer,” the original soundtrack for the American fantasy film “Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire,” and their performance at the Clockenflap Festival in Hong Kong last December.
Atarashii Gakko! made their Japanese debut in 2017 with the single "Dokubana” and their worldwide debut with the track “Nainainai,” under the music label 88rising.
