Smoke & Barrel’s New Collaborations Pairs BBQ With Special Cocktails
American BBQ restaurant Smoke & Barrel is teaming up with three bars across Hong Kong for their one-night-only pop-up series happening on March 27, April 25, and May 14.
Aiming to create a unique culinary experience that celebrates the fusion of BBQ with local bar influences, the “Smokehouse Shindig” series will have each participating bar craft a unique cocktail experience to complement the BBQ offerings of the night from Smoke and Barrel.
Kicking off with The Green Door – a New York-style speakeasy nestled within the Hong Kong wet market – on March 27, guests can savour meals like the 10-day Cured Smoked Beef Pastrami served with house pickles, alongside a specially crafted selection of cocktails.
Followed by a collaboration with The Shady Acres on April 25, where diners can feast on hearty comfort food, including the Pulled Pork with Carolina BBQ sauce that is best paired with the all-American cheddar mac & cheese. Lastly, you can enjoy Smoke & Barrel’s spin on traditional Cantonese Char Siu, or glazed BBQ pork at Kinsman on May 14.
