Womanizer Joins hansgrohe in Unveiling All-new Dual-use ‘Wave’ Showerhead
International pleasure brand Womanizer has partnered with premium German bathroom product manufacturer hansgrohe to launch the world's first showerhead specifically designed for masturbation.
The showerhead can be used both for stimulation and as usual in showers. The Womanizer Wave has been built with integrated jet settings tailored to provide the most pleasurable sensations through the water. The tool has revolutionized the way vulva owners can now masturbate in their showers.
The brand’s User Research Team first created two prototypes that were implemented in intensive market research spanning over three years. Based on nine research projects inclusive of 60 interviews, 100 testers, and 4,000 responses in questionnaires, results show that 87% of users experience orgasms with Wave, 86% use Wave to de-stress, and 80% agree that the showerhead has helped improve their mood.
Elisabeth Neumann, Head of User Research of Womanizer and Sexologist, describes Womanizer Wave as “a significant step forward in the destigmatization of masturbation, as it normalizes and incorporates this healthy sexual practice into our daily lives.”
There are three main settings for stimulation including: ‘Pleasure Jet,’ known for its constant rhythmic stimulations; ‘Pleasure Whirl,’ optimized for surprising movements, and also the ‘Powder Rain,’ a typical shower jet offering a gentle and calming showering experience.
Users can conveniently adjust the intensity using a slider element to their liking, while easily changing between the jet settings by briefly pressing the switch, all with one hand. Additionally, the showerhead has also been fitted to operate at a 60% reduction in water consumption rate compared to traditional showerheads.
The product retails for HK$930 and is available for purchase via Sally’s Toy.
