Select sessions highlight old and rare whiskies, Japanese distilleries, and heritage collections, with classes priced individually.
The festival also features Hong Kong Whisky Festival exclusive bottlings, specialty releases, and access to rare whiskies from past decades. Food offerings are available across three floors, complementing the tasting experience throughout the event. Ticket prices start from HK$188 (1‑day) and HK$258 (2‑day). Experience the transformative power of light at "Lifting the Veil," a major exhibition by acclaimed artist James Turrell, opening in Hong Kong from May 28 to Aug. 1, 2026. Presented by Gagosian, the exhibition explores Turrell’s groundbreaking practice through immersive installations, holograms, prints, and architectural studies that challenge the boundaries of perception and space.
Visitors can encounter three striking Glassworks installations, including "Resolute" (2025), "Patmos" (2024), and "Of One Mind" (2024), each specially constructed within the gallery environment. Using computer-controlled LED light, these works create shifting fields of color and depth that transform the surrounding space into contemplative sensory experiences. The exhibition also features Turrell’s celebrated holograms, which use light to create floating forms that blur the line between material presence and illusion.
The exhibition further highlights Turrell’s renowned Skyspaces and his monumental long-term project, "Roden Crater," through photographs, models, and site plans. An opening reception takes place on May 28, 2026, from 6 PM to 8 PM, inviting audiences to immerse themselves in one of contemporary art’s most visionary explorations of light and consciousness.
