Academy Award-Winning Actress Michelle Yeoh Is the New Face of La Mer

Hollywood actress Michelle Yeoh has been officially announced as the newest ambassador for global beauty brand, La Mer.

“Join us [as we] share an intimate view of Yeoh’s journey to becoming the iconic leading lady she is today. We’ll also give you an inside look into the beauty rituals that give her an ever-so-timeless radiance,” the German company wrote in an Instagram post.

In a promotional video released earlier this month, the Academy Award-winning star can be seen endorsing La Mer’s newly formulated Moisturising Soft Cream, a product that aims to improve skin elasticity and complexion.

“The sea is very special to me. It’s a place where I find calm and inspiration, and it brings warm memories of my time spent there with my family. That same connection is what drew me to La Mer,” Michelle said.

According to La Mer, Michelle’s journey from humble beginnings to being one of the most sought-after celebrities will be showcased in a series of videos, offering fans an in-depth understanding of her life and career.

Born in 1962, Michelle Yeoh is a Malaysian actress who rose to stardom after starring in various action films in the ‘90s, including “Yes, Madam” and “Holy Weapon.”

Just recently, she became the first-ever Asian star to win the coveted Best Actress award at the 95th Academy Awards, also known as the Oscars.

Michelle will fly to Malaysia on Tuesday, April 18, to meet her supporters at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur in the district of Bukit Bintang.
