Explore adidas Originals' Evolution in This Pop-Up With JD Sports

Ready your wallets, Malaysian sneakerheads!

To show how their iconic shoes have evolved through the years, sportswear brand adidas Originals is holding a pop-up event in Kuala Lumpur in collaboration with retailer JD Sports.

Held in Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, the pop-up stands out from the busy streets with its massive two-storey setting, which looks just like an adidas shoebox.

Upon entering, you’ll be greeted by an array of adidas fashion items, ranging from shoes to clothes and activewear items. Here, you’ll get a close look at the brand’s signature sneakers, the Samba and Gazelle. Outside, you’ll also see a giant model of the Samba shoes.

Of course, an adidas Originals experience wouldn’t be complete without exciting rewards! One way to get these is to join the event’s interactive quiz session, where you just need to answer four out of eight questions about adidas and JD Sports to win an RM30 gift card. You can use this to shop and get discounts on items sold at the store.

Until Sept. 17, JD Sports is also giving away a RM500-worth gift card to Instagram users who will post their most creative snaps with the giant Samba shoes with the hashtags #JDSPORTSMY and #ADIDASMY.

You can also spend a minimum of RM350 or RM500, so you can get premium gifts from the store. Purchasing customers can also get a complimentary protection spray for their adidas shoes!
