Air Asia to Offer One Way Promo Flights This Upcoming Chinese New Year

With the goal of reuniting families this coming Chinese New Year, Malaysian low-cost airline AirAsia has launched a special promo offering fixed low fares for its late-night flights starting on Feb. 5-15.

According to the airline’s press release, the promo will be available for one-way flights between Peninsular Malaysia and East Malaysia.

For as low as RM298, inclusive of airport taxes, MAVCOM fees, fuel surcharges, and other applicable fees, you can fly between Kuala Lumpur and Kuching, Sibu, Bintulu, or Miri, as well as between Johor Bahru and Kuching, Sibu, or Miri.

While between Kuala Lumpur and Kota Kinabalu, Sandakan or Tawau, as well as flights between Johor Bahru and Kota Kinabalu, you can purchase your one-way flight for RM348.

The airline will be adding a total of 134 flights for the low fare late-night flights on top of its regular 408 flights weekly to accommodate the influx of passengers for the upcoming occasion.

Passengers are also asked to do self-check-in through AirAsia’s SuperApp to generate their e-boarding pass, which will be available 14 days before their departure date and will be used to board their flight to avoid hassle and long lines.
