Macau Launches “Be My Guest, Feel At Home” Campaign Welcoming Travellers

The Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO) has launched the Macao Courtesy Campaign to encourage warm hospitality towards travellers among residents and the tourism industry.
The campaign aims to brand Macao as a hospitable destination and reinforce the city's status as a world centre of tourism and leisure.
At the launch ceremony held during the 11th Macao International Travel Expo, MGTO Director Maria Helena de Senna Fernandes unveiled the campaign slogan: "Be My Guest ∙ Feel At Home."
To disseminate the concept of warm hospitality, MGTO will carry out extensive promotions through different ways and channels such as video, poster, radio, television, and social media.
The message about courtesy will also be conveyed through the support of community organizations, institutions, and travel trade associations towards local communities and industry personnel.
The Macao Courtesy Campaign is launched in stages to engage residents and members of the tourism industry. In July, a "Public awareness – Be My Guest ∙ Feel At Home" campaign is launched to invite all residents in Macao to join.
In August, the "Industry expertise – Learn more about quality service" campaign is launched to invite members of the tourism and related sectors to join. September will see the "Courtesy at start of school – Become an ambassador" campaign launched to invite youths and students to join.
