Macau LRT Introduces Value-Added Offer for Cardholders

Heading out soon? Travel seamlessly with Light Rail Transit (LRT) and take advantage of its new fare offer! Macau Light Rapid Transit Corporation Limited (MLM) recently rolled out a value-added offer for reloading LRT cards, where passengers can get an extra MOP30 for every MOP100 worth of load, as per a press statement last Feb. 7.

Current Adult LRT cardholders have to get a new card to enjoy the benefits of the offer, while those with Commemorative or Student LRT Cards only need to sign a consent form at customer service centres to avail of the offer on their current card.

According to the MLM, there’s no time limit on this offer. You can also top up more than MOP100, although, each card can only store a maximum of MOP1,000. The fare discount is only applicable to passengers who will top up at station service counters and not to self-service ticket machines and add-value kiosks.

The LRT operates Monday to Friday from 6:30 AM-11:15 PM, and 6:30 AM-11:59 PM on Saturday, Sunday, and public holidays.
