Get ready for everything J-culture, as the first edition of the Contempo Festival is coming to Macau this February!
Happening from Feb. 1 until March 26 in various Sands China venues, the event will feature two months of festivities highlighting the rich culture of Japan, from music and arts to fashion and food.
The festival will focus on the work of some of the best artists in Japan through a series of exhibitions at the Sands Gallery, including Kunihiko Nohara from Hokkaido, Takaoki Tajima from Chiba, Keitoku Toizumi from Osaka, Ryosuke Kawahira from Aichi, Nami Okada from Gunma, and Hiroya Yoshikawa from Kyoto.
To amplify the excitement, popular J-pop idol groups Takane No Nadeshiko and Karen Na Ivory will stage their performances on Feb. 1 and Feb. 24 to 25, respectively. An exclusive meet-and-greet and a post-show send-off with Takane No Nadeshiko will also be held on Feb. 1 at the Londoner Theatre.
Tickets to the Contempo Festival’s first mini concert with Takane No Nadeshiko are now available via Cotai Ticketing, ranging from MOP699 to MOP1,699. Ticketing details for succeeding shows will soon be announced.
