Mobile wallet GCash unveiled its new Visa Debit card, boasting its DoubleSafe feature designed to prevent potential account hacking. It is an additional layer of security using facial recognition, two-factor authentication (2FA), and a mobile PIN.

What makes the Visa-powered GCash card more innovative is its favorable exchange rates, perfect for globetrotters. It allows cardholders to transact seamlessly across 35.9 million establishments spanning 200 countries and accommodating 150 diverse currencies worldwide.

For those who prefer steering clear of credit cards, the GCash card presents the GGives feature, enabling Filipino users the flexibility to buy now and pay later without any initial down payment or incurring any interest at select merchants. Furthermore, prepaid users can leverage GCash Borrow Load options to get their hands on load promotions whenever the need arises.

The latest GCash card also incorporates the Near Field Communication (NFC) technology that facilitates contactless payments in physical stores like 7-Eleven and Robinsons Supermarket.

You can get yours by requesting on the GCash app, which costs P185 for the card and P65 for the shipping or delivery fee. Expect your card to arrive within four to 10 business days.
