5 Restaurants in Singapore Earn Coveted One Michelin Star

Michelin Guide Announces 5 New One-Star Restaurants in Singapore

At a recently held ceremony at the PARKROYAL COLLECTION Marina Bay, five new restaurants joined the ranks of Singapore's dining elite. This achievement is particularly noteworthy, especially following fine dining restaurant Odette's recognition as the Best Restaurant in Asia 2023. Ready for a gastronomic adventure? A visit to Singapore is a must for foodies looking to treat their palates.

Check out the five newly Michelin-starred restaurants in Singapore below:

Seroja has made a name for itself and gained a following in less than a year. Serving food inspired by the Malay archipelago, Seroja was a big winner during the Michelin ceremony. The restaurant not only gained a star but was also recognised as Singapore's first Green Star restaurant, thanks to its sustainability efforts. The restaurant’s chef, Kevin Wong, also received the Young Chef award.

As its name implies, Born takes inspiration from the Circle of Life, serving contemporary cuisine that brings together the best of French gastronomy and Chinese cooking techniques. Chef Zor Tan works his magic in the kitchen, creating dishes that promise to delight guests with every bite.

Poise offers a sophisticated dining experience, with chef Steve Lancaster expertly fusing European and Nordic flavours in every dish.

With Singaporean chef Nicolas Tam at the helm, Willow serves contemporary Asian cuisine using carefully sourced, seasonal ingredients that promise to delight the palate.

Sushi Sakuta

Let chef-owner Yoshio Sakuta transport you to Japan with Sushi Sakuta’s omakase menu that highlights sushi and Japanese fish, truffles, and caviar.
