Want to see the Sakura cherry blossoms or learn about Japanese culture? This one’s for you! You can tick off a box on your travel bucket list as AirJapan will be launching Singapore-Tokyo economy flights for as low as S$179, starting April 26.

There will be a total of 10 scheduled flights (Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) weekly – five per direction. Outbound flights from Changi International Airport will depart at 12:55 AM and arrive at Narita International Airport by 9:10 AM. Meanwhile, flights going to Singapore will take off at 5:35 PM and land by 11:55 PM.

Ideal for restful travels, AirJapan will be offering blankets for sale in-flight, along with other amenities and products. The airline also offers in-flight Wi-Fi for passengers who prefer to watch movies or surf the internet (see plans here).

The budget airline offers fare tier options: Simple, Standard, and Selected. If you’re a light packer, the Simple option (starts at S$179) might be your best choice, which includes a seven-kilogram carry-on baggage allowance. But if you want to secure a window seat, consider the Standard option (starts at S$217), which comes with carry-on baggage, a single piece of check-in baggage, and seat selection privilege.

For travellers who appreciate in-flight dining, the Selected option (starts at S$264) comes with a variety of meal choices like Omakase Sushi Box, Kawaii Lunch Box, Pork Cutlet Sandwich, and more! This option will also allow you to bring carry-on luggage, check in two pieces of baggage, and select your desired seat.
