Leading the pack is “Physical: 100 Season 2 - Underground” winner and lululemon brand Ambassador Amotti, who will front one of the training sessions alongside other fellow ambassadors and top instructors. Marvel in the majesty of a colossal 40-meter dinosaur cast and journey through 400 million years of Earth’s history at “DINOSAURS | EXTINCTIONS | US,” opening at the Science Centre Singapore on October 11, 2025.

In their most ambitious and spectacular showcases yet, Science Centre Singapore and the Lee Kong Chian Natural History Museum of the National University of Singapore are bringing together two world-renowned exhibitions – the “Dinosaurs of Patagonia” and “Six Extinctions” – for the first time.
Spanning across 3,000 square meters, the exhibition features 33 rare fossils and 60 full-scale models across three interactive zones, offering visitors an unforgettable deep dive into the rise and fall of prehistoric life and the five major mass extinction events that shaped our planet.
Two World-Class Exhibitions, One Epic Experience
At “Dinosaurs of Patagonia,” visitors can step into ancient Patagonia and meet 13 species from one of the world’s most fertile fossil grounds. The exhibition, curated by Museo Paleontológico Egidia Feruglio (MEF), features the colossal Patagotitan mayorum, one of the largest creatures to have ever roamed the Earth.
From there, Gondwana Studios’ “Six Extinctions” takes guests through Earth’s most catastrophic moments, with more than 30 extraordinary displays that tell nature’s greatest upheavals. Visitors will come face-to-face with “Scotty,” the largest Tyrannosaurus rex ever found, and the profound impact on Earth’s vanishing biodiversity.
For a more local experience, Lee Kong Chian Natural History Museum will be showcasing a selection of specimens from its own collection to highlight Singapore’s biodiversity challenges. These include the cream-colored giant squirrel (Ratufa affinis affinis) and the rufous-collared kingfisher (Actenoides concretus), both now nationally extinct, alongside cutting-edge scientific methods and analytical tools used to understand and prevent future losses.

In a significant step towards improving mental health and well-being, Singapore’s Ministry of Health (MOH) launched its first national mental health helpline and textline to provide 24/7 mental health support services.
The national mindline 1771 provides a safe space where individuals can seek help without fear of stigma. This multi-platform mental health service offers support in three ways:
The multi-channel approach ensures that individuals can choose how to seek support. While some might find it easier to communicate through real-time voice conversations, others may express themselves better through writing, which is where the text-based options come in handy. It’s also reported that all conversations are kept confidential, and help-seekers can choose to remain anonymous, which makes it easier for individuals to take the first step towards getting help early.

This launch marks the retirement of the IMH’s long-standing helpline, with the new service aiming to streamline its support efforts and simplify the mental health care journey for everyone. The national mindline 1771 is operated by a team of 30 full-time counsellors and staff who all have extensive experience in addressing a wide spectrum of mental health conditions, as well as operating mental health helplines. Some of them have even operated the previous Mental Health helpline.
The service acts as a first point of contact for individuals facing emotional stress, anxiety, or other mental health challenges. Beyond counselling, the team can also answer your mental health queries and provide referrals to various support services, such as social service agencies, community-based support, and primary care for those who require long-term care. It’s also partnering with the Caring Action in Response to Emergency (CARE) Officers from the National CARE Management System to enhance the service’s capabilities.
MOH encourages everyone facing emotional distress or mental health challenges to seek help early, including through the national Mindline 1771. Aside from providing the support people need, this service also hopes to build a more resilient and compassionate society, where seeking mental health support is normalized.

This campaign was created in response to new insights from a regional consumer study revealing significant shifts in people’s fitness motivations. With results spanning nearly 9,000 individuals throughout eight markets, the survey showed that 61% of respondents prioritize better sleep and 49% focused on mental well-being, placing these above traditional goals like weight or strength management.
60% of respondents said that exercise is the most important fitness strategy, with only 14% using commercial gyms, and most respondents relied on daily movement — chores, commuting, and home workouts.

Garden Vibes’ wellness zone is a tranquil urban escape that offers movement, mindfulness, and education for all ages and stages of the wellness journey.
One key highlight of the day is the Rethink Your Pantry – Real Talk on Everyday Food Swaps panel discussion that is set to take place from 1 PM to 1:45 PM on the rooftop of myVillage. This thought-provoking session will bring together four diverse voices from the worlds of food, wellness, and family life.
The panel discussion will be helmed by Tom Gray, Commercial Director of Little Farms, Dr. Valerie Druon, a family physician from Osler Health, Matt Benfell, founder of Thrive Fitness, and Marie Bellin, a holistic nutritionist.
Also on the rooftop, Warrior Studios will lead partner yoga and movement sessions, guiding participants through mindful exercises designed to build strength, connection, and balance. Spirit Stretch Immersive Yoga Studio will be complementing the day’s activities with a meditation and breathwork session, followed by a calming Yin Yoga practice paired with a soothing sound bath — offering a chance to relax, reset, and reconnect.
Holistic nutritionist and Chickpea and Berries Founder Raphaelle Voog will be leading a hands-on session on creating wholesome lunchboxes for kids.

Little Farms Bar+Grill Serangoon Garden will be serving a Garden Vibes Dinner Menu exclusively on May 24 to round off the festivities. Priced at S$88++ for four courses, the meal opens with a Little Farms’ Avocado Hummus, a fresh, delicious starter that’s topped with pomegranate, Nectar Honeybee pollen, crispy chickpeas, and pickled onion, served alongside Iruela olive bread.
This is followed by a delicate Beef Carpaccio made with Green Meadows’ pepper-crusted tenderloin, garnished with quail egg, pickled shallots, and shaved Grana Padano.
Guests will enjoy Storm + India’s Tea-Smoked Black Cod paired with bok choy, Storm & India matcha, and a Forsyth Island mussel broth, finished with crispy shallots. The second main features the Roaring Forties Lamb Rack, served with Grobrix Mint Zhoug, pickled cucumber, crispy capers, and kale.

Venture back in time to the age of dinosaurs this May as Singapore’s iconic garden attraction brings “Jurassic World” to life!
Following the successful Avatar: The Experience in 2023, NEON and Universal Live Entertainment just announced that Jurassic World: The Experience will debut within the misty landscapes of Cloud Forest at Gardens by the Bay on May 29.
This exciting new attraction will feature life-sized animatronic and sculpted dinosaurs nestled amidst the lush foliage of the cool conservatory, bringing the cinematic masterpiece to life through 13 exciting zones!
Some of the highlights include the 8.5m tall Brachiosaurus that will welcome guests as they enter Cloud Forest, thrilling encounters with the ferocious Tyrannosaurus rex, face-to-face interactions with baby dinosaurs in the Petting Zoo area, and the tiny and elusive Compsognathus “Compys” hidden within the lush garden pathways.

The Cloud Forest at Gardens by the Bay makes for an ideal venue for this thrilling exhibition as it replicates the cool-moist climate found in Tropical Montane regions. The conservatory currently holds more than 72,000 plants, with more than 50 species with lineages that can actually be traced back to the Jurassic period! Plants such as ferns, cycads, and conifers once thrived alongside these majestic creatures and even served as sustenance. Visitors will get the chance to learn more about these plants, how they continue to thrive today and gain further insight into the connection between past and present ecosystems.
Guests can witness an astonishing showcase of their evolution at the Evolution Walk, which will feature reconstructions of extinct ancient plants. Meanwhile, fans of the films will be thrilled to know that iconic moments from the series will be brought to life through cutting-edge animatronics and interactive exhibits.
Admission charges to Cloud Forest apply and are currently priced at S$32 (Adult) and S$18 (Child). Residents can purchase them at S$12 (Adult), S$8 (Senior), and S$8 (Child).
