“A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away…” The groundbreaking film “Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope” by George Lucas was released 40 years ago.

Star Wars fans can relive Luke Skywalker's galactic journey and experience the saga like never before with “Star Wars: A New Hope in Concert.” It will be shown on a giant screen with the music played live in sync and is slated for Oct.14-15 at the Esplanade Theatre.

The live film will be presented in English and will feature musicians from the Orchestra of the Music Makers under Nicholas Buc as the conductor.

In the movie, Skywalker embarks on a mission to rescue Princess Leia from Darth Vader and the evil Empire. He meets Obi-Wan Kenobi, who has lived on Tatooine since the fall of the Jedi Order.

Ticket prices range from S$58-S$198 and are available at the Esplanade or via Sistic. May the Force be with you!
