This week, Singapore comes alive with two standout events that celebrate creativity and spontaneous artistry. The Singapore Design Week (SDW) 2024 returns from Sept. 26, featuring a citywide celebration that showcases Singapore's unique brand of creativity through a series of exhibitions, workshops, and talks. Concurrently, the Singapore Improv Festival 2024 sparks joy and laughter at Stamford Arts Centre and The Theatre Practice, featuring live, unscripted performances that embrace this year's theme, "Together Gather."

1. Mental Health Festival 2024

Join Mental Health Festival 2024 on Sept. 24 (invite-only) and Sept. 26 (virtual). Organized by Intellect, the festival aims to go beyond traditional mental well-being solutions, sparking a wave of change toward creating mentally healthy environments at home, in the workplace, and within communities.

This Lunar New Year, Martell is galloping into the Year of the Horse with limited edition designs of the Martell Cordon Bleu and Martell VSOP, alongside a festive pop-up experience titled “The House of Martell” at ION Orchard’s B4 Indoor Atrium from February 5 to 12, 2026.

Inspired by the Chinese New Year tradition of house-visiting (拜年 bài nián), “The House of Martell” pop up opens its doors as a warm welcoming home and invites guests into a curated journey of art, culture, and craftsmanship—from sculptural installations and calligraphy keepsakes to exclusive tastings and treats. Entry to the pop up is complimentary and is open from 11 AM to 9:30 PM.

The limited-edition bottles are designed in collaboration with globally celebrated Chinese artist He Datian, whose expressive works and fluid brushwork capture the spirit and vitality of the horse, appearing across the Martell Cordon Bleu and Martell VSOP bottles. Rendered in vibrant red and electric blue with refined gold accents, the designs offer a contemporary yet auspicious expression for festive gifting.

At the pop up, visitors can explore The Martell Cellar, where Martell’s most exceptional creations and rarest exceptions are housed. A highlight is the L’Or de Jean Martell Zodiac Edition – Assemblage du Cheval, limited to just 500 bottles worldwide, and is released annually in celebration of the zodiac animal of the year. Past editions of the rare expression can also be seen at the pop-up.

The limited-edition Martell Cordon Bleu and Martell VSOP bottles will be available at The House of Martell from February 5 to 12, and at selected retailers islandwide, including FairPrice and the Pernod Ricard official store on Shopee.

Looking for inspiration to kick off your New Year fitness goals?

Singapore is set to get moving as activewear brand lululemon hosts a one-day lineup of high-energy training sessions at CQ @ Clark Quay Block B on Jan. 24, 2026. Bringing together a team of local trainers and lululemon Brand Ambassadors, the event promises a full day of sweat-heavy group classes that are designed to challenge, energize, and motivate.

Leading the pack is “Physical: 100 Season 2 - Underground” winner and lululemon brand Ambassador Amotti, who will front one of the training sessions alongside other fellow ambassadors and top instructors. The program includes a Strength and Stride class with Samuel Lim and Jess Arrowsmith, a REVL team sweat session led by SYAM, a high-intensity workout by MVRCK featuring ergs, burpees, and barbells, and an Ignite and Unite class with Alicia and lululemon Brand Ambassador Gino Morales.

Plus, those joining will get first dibs on lululemon’s latest drops, with event-exclusive customization too!
