‘Naruto: The Gallery’ Is Finally Coming to Singapore on April 25
Most anime fans, if not all, are familiar with Naruto. And if you’re a fan, this is your chance to check out the popular “Naruto: The Gallery” without having to fly to Japan to score exclusive merchandise. Slated to open on March 28 at Universal Studios Singapore (USS), visitors can explore six themed zones, including a pop-up café!
The exhibit, which was previously held in Japan’s Akiba Square in Akihabara UDX for the 20th anniversary of the series, will be debuting overseas right here in Singapore. Running until June 30, the exhibit will take you to the world of Naruto – explore his village through the Konohagakure Diorama, witness Naruto’s last battle once again in an immersive multi-screen theatre, and more.
Let’s be honest, as a Naruto fan, there was a time that your mouth watered over Naruto’s favourite ramen. If that’s the case, get ready to do the Naruto run and speed over to the café, where they will serve a Naruto-inspired menu featuring the iconic Ichiraku Ramen and Sasuke’s Fire Meatballs.
Throughout the event, there will be an “Animator Collaboration,” where five up-and-coming animators (Ai Nina, Kohei Kadowaki, Kosuke Sugimoto, Kota Morie, and Que) will present their unique interpretation of the anime’s canon scenes. On the other hand, “Artists Collaboration” will feature exclusive artworks and swag by popular artists — Amos Ananda, Jahan Loh, and Josiah Chua.
