2025 is already looking up for Ahgases and K-Pop fans alike because the rumors are true… GOT7 is back!
The internationally renowned third-generation K-Pop group is set to make a comeback on Jan. 20, 2025, after nearly three years. Thai member, BamBam, confirmed the news on X (Formerly Twitter) with a meme billboard post and quoting, “Oh god, I can finally say this out loud! It’s been a month!! You know how hard to hold this..?”

Jay B, the group’s leader, also confirmed their much-anticipated return when he announced it at his solo concert in Seoul last Dec. 7. It was reported that his fellow members Mark and Yugyeom were also present at the event.
Although not much has been revealed about the comeback, the fandom is already set in motion. Aghases are expecting a record release considering the group dropped casual hints about working on an album before the official announcement. This comeback marks their second project as a group since releasing their self-titled EP in 2022, which consisted of six tracks including the lead single, “NANANA.” This comeback also highlights the group’s eleventh anniversary in the music business.
Jay B, Mark, Jackson, Jinyoung, Youngjae, BamBam,and Yugyeom debuted in 2014 under JYP Entertainment and are known for their hits “A,” “If You Do,” and “You Calling My Name.” The septet left their former label in 2021 and has since been pursuing solo projects. Despite this, the group had announced multiple times that they didn’t disband and will always remain as GOT7.
