Get ready to join the fun and witness the iconic bun scrambling competition again as the Cheung Chau Bun Festival takes place from May 15 to 16! Packed with a variety of interesting activities, the festival will feature the Bun Scrambling Competition and the Climbing Carnival, which you and your loved ones can enjoy.

Open to the public, the Climbing Carnival lets festivalgoers experience the fun of bun tower climbing. Aside from that, there will also be activities like stall games, handicraft making, a variety show, and climbing demonstrations for everyone to enjoy! Another celebration's highlight is the display of winning entries in the Drawing Competitions for Students – all of which will happen on May 5, so don’t miss them out!

The Cheung Chau Bun Festival where participants must climb giant bamboo towers covered with buns while trying to grab as many buns as possible originally started as a celebration of the end of a plague in Cheng Chau. Revived in 2005, the annual Bun Carnival has been well received by the public with over 10,000 attendees every year.

Mark your calendars and get ready for another fun Bun Festival kicking off on May 5! Check here for more information.
