Catch the Vibe of Seoul at the Newest Korean Rooftop Bar in Bangkok
It’s no secret that Seoul is one of the most dynamic cities in the world, and with the rise in popularity of Korean dramas and music, many yearn to visit the city in the future. If you can’t wait to feel the vibe of Seoul, here’s your chance to take in its energy without leaving Bangkok.
ANJU Korean Rooftop Bar, said to be the “first and highest Korean rooftop bar,” just opened on the 31st floor of the Sindhorn Midtown Hotel Bangkok. The space is neon-lit and buzzing with energy that’s reminiscent of Gangnam, a luxury district in Seoul known for its shopping spots and nightlife.
As you take in the ambience, make sure you sample the menu that showcases Korean dishes and street food, as well as the alcoholic beverages that will pique your interest. You can get started by ordering small bites like the Korean Omelet (THB230) or Tuna Kimbap (THB230). Those who want something heavier can go for the Grilled Marinated Striploin (THB690) and Spicy Stir-Fried Baby Octopus (THB350).
Ready to dive into their signature cocktails? There’s Jjam-Ppong (THB390), a mix of Giffard Piment D’espelette Chile Liqueur, Plum Green Tea, Citrus Juice, and Fish-Based Soup Foam; Kim-Bap (THB420), a cocktail made of Hwayo25 Premium Soju, Sous-Vide Dried Seaweed, Cucumber Brine Syrup, and Original Rice Makgeolli Foam; and Yak-Gwa (THB390), a mix of Korean Sake, Brown Rice, and Jujube Syrup with Korean Traditional Cookies.
Guests can also consider the signature mocktails or go for the simple soju and beer flavor combo options available. As you sip your drink and take a bite of your chosen food partner, wouldn’t it be great to listen to lively music, too? Apart from playing a string of K-Pop tunes, live music can also be enjoyed at ANJU courtesy of the DJs, who will play sets regularly.
