TAT to Push for Smart Tourism in Thailand Through Bitkub Metaverse
The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has finally opened the pre-registration for the Bitkub Metaverse. Individuals who successfully register will have the chance to invite their friends and redeem exclusive rewards until June 16.
In collaboration between the TAT and Bitkub Blockchain Technology, the Bitkub Metaverse will utilise non-fungible tokens (NFT), crypto, blockchain technology, XRB, and other Web 3.0 technologies to promote Thailand as a powerhouse travel destination.
Virtual versions of iconic landmarks, such as The Grand Palace, Sanctuary of Truth Museum, The Temple of Emerald Buddha, Ayutthaya Historical Park, and Wat Rong Khun, among others, will be available for the public to view.
Through Bitkub Metaverse, the TAT hopes that locals and foreigners will be inspired to travel across the kingdom. For more information, click here.
Dubbed the “next evolution in social connection,” the metaverse is an iteration of the interweb that lets humans interact and connect with other people, even if they’re not physically in the same place.
