Bass Up! The Biggest EDM Event in the World Is Heading to Thailand in 2026
The air in Thailand is filled with exciting thrills and beats, with festivals happening left and right. Not to mention the upcoming arrival of the biggest EDM festival in the world, Tomorrowland, in the capital city of Bangkok in 2026.
Following the announcement of Summer Sonic Bangkok 2024, which is also the first event of the festival outside Japan, Thailand is gearing up to welcome yet another iconic event in the country.
In a press release, Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin stated that major events fuel the economy. Aside from the announced music festivals, he shared that currently there are talks of bringing other events, including Formula One, Formula E, and Art Basel.
Started in Belgium in 2005, Tomorrowland is one of the most attended festivals around the world, recording a whopping 400,000 attendees last year.
It also had various versions over the past years and has graced other countries, and in 2026, Thailand is set to roll the ball — a first among ASEAN countries.
