Bowers & Wilkins' new PX8 Wireless Headphones are quality-oozing, offering that kind of hi-res, wide-open sound that keeps you coming back for more. The higher-end sibling of the Bowers & Wilkins PX7 S2, the leather-clad PX8 is the more luxurious version of the same concept and takes its place at the top end of the company's headset line.
After several weeks of listening to the PX8s, we believe they are possibly the ultimate over-ear wireless headphones. However, whether you should get it over the more affordable PX7 S2 depends largely on your own personal audio priorities. If you can afford it, and you want a pair of audiophile-worthy headphones that do not just look luxe, they also sound luxe, then the Bowers & Wilkins PX8 is that and more.
At first glance, both PX7 S2 and PX8s are nearly identical, but on closer inspection, you quickly appreciate that the PX8s are made from higher-end materials like aluminium and genuine leather. Boasting custom-made "exotic" 40mm carbon-cone driver units that deliver an even more detailed sound in every part of the frequency spectrum, Bowers & Wilkins PX8 also makes a solid case as a contender to take on the top-of-the-line noise-cancelling headphones crown from Sennheiser Momentum 4 and Sony WH-1000XM5.
While lacking some of the hi-tech features that the Sony WH-1000XM5 possess, the PX8s feature set is comprehensive enough to avoid tech envy and the luscious sound and build more than makeup for any perceived shortcomings. Overall, it's an immensely capable performer, which justifies its price tag thanks to the build-and-sound-quality combo, where cheaper alternatives simply cannot compete.

In Summary: Bowers & Wilkins PX8 Wireless Headphones are the best-sounding Bluetooth headphones we have heard this year. They are supremely comfortable, the sound quality is incredible, and they are built to such a high standard, that every time you take them off, you are reminded of how good they are.
