Beyoncé Announces Name and Release Date of Her Own Hair Care Brand
Our hair is irreplaceable, and Queen Bey knows that! If you’ve been dreaming of having the same luscious locks as Beyoncé, here’s some good news: She is dropping her own hair care brand this February!
In case you don’t know, Beyoncé dropped hints of her own brand in May last year on Instagram. On the last slide of her post, she shared that her first job was "sweeping hair in her mama’s salon." According to her, she saw “firsthand how the ways we nurture and celebrate hair can directly impact our souls.”
In the same post, she also said, “I watched her heal and be of service to so many women. Having learned so much on my hair journey, I’ve always dreamed of carrying on her legacy. I can’t wait for you to experience what I’ve been creating.”
On Feb. 6, the American singer-songwriter officially announced the brand’s name on Instagram as “Cécred,” pronounced like “sacred.” The announcement came with some snippets of Beyoncé and other women getting their hair washed at her mother’s hair salon in Houston.
Based on Cécred’s website, the products offered are shampoos, conditioners, treatments, stylers, and more. Packaged in beautiful, minimal containers, these products will surely gain popularity among fans and beauty enthusiasts!
