Dr. Martens is kicking off January with two of their classic shoes redesigned with Equestrian details and Lunar New Year accents.
The British footwear brand is swapping its iconic yellow stitching for auspicious red in its latest Chinese New Year collection, inspired by the Year of the Horse. The lineup features the 1461 Year of the Horse Leather Shoes (HK$1,599)and the 1460 Year of the Horse Leather Boots (HK$1,799).
The former reimagines the brand’s classic 3-eye loafers, crafted from smooth leather finished with a statement hair-on leather vamp, adorned with bridle-inspired straps and antique gold hardware, and completed with bold, lucky-red welt stitching.

Also stomping into the new year are Dr.Martens’ original 1460 boots, which are also crafted with smooth leather and fashioned with bridle-inspired straps, antique gold hardware, and lace charms. Two-tone Smooth Slice leather also provides pops of red across the upper, while the backstrap is furnished with textured Hair On leather. Both shoes have a grooved sole that makes them comfortable for long wear.

Celebrate the Lunar New Year by getting one of these collectible pairs. You can purchase them through Dr. Martens’ official website, select brand stores, and retailers in the region.
