Uniqlo Announces JW Anderson x Roger Federer LifeWear Line Drops Sept. 4

Japanese apparel brand Uniqlo has collaborated with British designer Jonathan Anderson of JW Anderson and world-renowned tennis star Roger Federer to curate a remarkable capsule collection.

Unveiled as part of their LifeWear series, the collection features nine unisex sport-casual garments, including polos, sweaters, tracksuits, shorts, parkas, and a sports bag. The collection adheres to a classic black, white, grey, and blue colour scheme, utilizing Uniqlo's signature Dry Ex tech material designed to keep wearers cool. This blend of sophisticated tailoring and comfort facilitates an active lifestyle, a trademark characteristic of JW Anderson's designs.

Despite retiring in 2022, the Swiss Grand Slam champion and former world number one 237 times over still holds his place as a tennis legend and a sportswear icon. Famously swapping his Nike uniform for an ambassador role with Uniqlo back in 2018, this new F/W 2023 Roger Federer LifeWear partnership is in perfect alignment with his career trajectory.

Founded by Northern Irish designer Jonathan Anderson, JW Anderson first emerged in the limelight during their 2008 London Fashion Week debut. Having already collaborated with Uniqlo to launch an A/W collection in 2017, the two brands are once again fusing their styles of sophisticated simplicity and functionality.

Set to launch globally on Sept. 4, stay tuned to your local Uniqlo site for more information on participating stores, and prepare to shop the collection online by clicking here.
