Global traders are in for a juicy event as Asia Fruit Logistica, the region’s premier fresh fruit and vegetable trade show, heads back to Hong Kong in September.

To be held at AsiaWorld-Expo on Sept. 6-8, Asia Fruit Logistica will welcome around 600 exhibitors from more than 40 countries and regions. China is on pace to be the single-largest exhibiting nation, underscoring strong post-pandemic demand. Meanwhile, Moldova will join the fair for the first time through Moldova Fruct, which has more than 180 members that include large agribusinesses specialising in apples, pears, stone fruit, and table grapes.

The three-day exhibit will have 24 national or regional pavilions from Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, Ecuador, Egypt, France, Germany, Italy, Malaysia, Moldova, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Peru, Poland, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Taiwan, Turkey, the U.S., and Vietnam, according to the organisers. Aside from connecting with big producers, visitors can also network with companies offering top machinery and agritech around the show floor area.

Additionally, industry experts and speakers will hold programmes and seminars to talk about trends and opportunities in the region. One highlight is “Marketing & Consumers” on day one, which will spotlight key strategies to mount a successful campaign in the fresh produce market. Smart agriculture and greenhouse gas solutions will also be tackled in the succeeding days.
