The Pontiac Cyber 22Photo by The Pontiac

The Pontiac, a celebrated cornerstone of Hong Kong’s eclectic nightlife, unveils its new cocktail menu, a fusion of cyberpunk aesthetics and cutting-edge artificial intelligence. This innovative offering pushes the boundaries of traditional mixology and cements The Pontiac's reputation as a leader in Hong Kong's nightlife scene.

Led by Jen Queen and her dynamic all-women team, The Pontiac has created a menu that transcends conventional mixology. The new offerings include standout drinks like the Cosmic Core, a visually stunning concoction of Pisco, Blue Curaçao, pineapple, and glitter, and the Time Traveler, a blend that ingeniously incorporates repurposed croissants infused with vodka and coffee liqueur. Each cocktail reflects The Pontiac's ethos of sustainability and creativity, turning leftover ingredients into luxurious experiences.

The process behind the menu involved an extensive collaboration with artificial intelligence, which was tasked with capturing the essence of The Pontiac's culture and community-oriented spirit. The result is not just a series of drinks but a narrative experience, illustrated in a comic book format that features an alien visitor navigating the complexities of Earthly social interactions through the universal language of drinks.

This latest innovation is part of The Pontiac's broader strategy to remain at the forefront of the cocktail industry, not only within Hong Kong but on the international stage. Having been consistently ranked among Asia's 50 Best Bars, The Pontiac leverages its platform to champion inclusivity, sustainability, and the empowerment of women in the hospitality industry.

Clarence Leaves H Code, Moves to Wyndham Street with Fresh Direction

25092026Photo by Facebook/ Clarence Wine & Grill

After occupying H Code's 25th floor for four years, Clarence Wine & Grill is preparing for a fresh start just a few steps away from its longtime home.

The restaurant announced on social media last Saturday, Sept. 19, 2026, that it will be closing its doors and soon reopen at 36 Wyndham Street, just beside New Punjab Club and Tealosophy Tea Bar and a few steps away from the iconic Fringe Club.

While the move keeps the restaurant firmly rooted in the same neighborhood, it is hinting at a new direction for its next chapter. "So actually, after four years, I'm moving Clarence. I totally rethink about the concept," said chef, founder, and restaurateur Olivier Elzer in a reel posted on Instagram.

Clarence Wine & Grill has built a following for its blend of classic French techniques, seasonal ingredients, and a more relaxed take on fine dining. The upcoming relocation, however, appears to be a surprise for those who have known the restaurant. "I think about a lot about what have been done in the last four years, and I want to have something very fun, vibrant, that people love," Chef Olivier added.

The restaurant is set to reopen next week, so foodies who are eager to check out their next phase can book an early reservation online, starting with the opening date on Oct. 2, 2026, at lunch service from 12 PM to 2 PM and dinner from 6 PM to 9 PM.

For more details, visit Clarence Wine & Grill's website or follow them on Instagram and Facebook.

Led by Head Chef Ping Ng, the restaurant is known for its hearty lineup of signature pizzas, meatballs, steaks, and pasta dishes, including its famous 25-inch pizza, which they boast as "The Biggest Pizza in Hong Kong." What we love? They ferment their pizza dough for three days before baking, leading to that addicting and nostalgic flavor-packed crunchy outside, soft inside with every bite.

Families will especially love the restaurant’s arcade games, pet-friendliness, and dedicated Kids’ Menu featuring mini pizzas, mac ’n’ cheese, spaghetti, and chicken fingers. Tokachi Milky Launches Black Sesame 2.0 Collection in HK

Tokachi MilkyPhoto by Tokachi Milky/Instagram

Tokachi Milky has brought back its Black Sesame 2.0 collection in Hong Kong, dialing up the roasted, nutty flavor across five desserts and drinks made with the brand's signature Tokachi milk.

The upgraded lineup includes returning black sesame treats alongside a new Double Black Sesame Dip for fans who believe there's no such thing as too much sesame. For the record, we agree.

Tokachi Milky uses organic black sesame roasted by Japanese artisans and ground multiple times to achieve a richer aroma and deeper flavor. It is paired with milk sourced from Hokkaido's Tokachi region.

The Black Sesame Mochi Puff layers a crispy choux shell with rich black sesame custard and milk mochi at its center, adding a milky finish to the roasted sesame notes.

Those craving something colder can go for the Black Sesame Mochi Parfait, featuring Tokachi milk soft serve topped with two layers of black sesame sauce and finished with black sesame mochi at the bottom.

Another item in the collection is the Black Sesame Latte, which combines extra-rich black sesame paste with Tokachi milk for a thick and silky drink.

Meanwhile, the Black Sesame Milk Pudding pairs silky sesame pudding with cheese milk foam and sesame crumbs for a sweet-savory finish. This one is exclusively available at Tokachi Milky's Central and Causeway Bay branches.

New to the lineup is the Double Black Sesame Dip, which coats Tokachi milk soft serve in two layers of black sesame richness, pushing the collection's namesake ingredient firmly into main-character territory.

Tokachi Milky has been making desserts since 1991 using milk from Hokkaido's Tokachi region. According to the brand, the naturally creamy milk has higher fat and calcium content than regular milk and has a slightly golden hue that has earned it the nickname "Golden Milk."

The Black Sesame 2.0 collection is available at Tokachi Milky stores at K11 MUSEA and Star Ferry Terminus in Tsim Sha Tsui, Aberdeen Street in Central, and Times Square in Causeway Bay.

For more information, follow Tokachi Milky on Instagram.

Madrid’s MYKA Greek Frozen Yogurt Opens First Asian Flagship in Hong Kong

MYKA 3Photo by MYKA Greek Frozen Yogurt

Hong Kong’s frozen dessert scene just got a new addition from Spain, as MYKA Greek Frozen Yogurt has officially landed in Central, marking both its Hong Kong debut and its first opening in Asia.

Founded in 2023 by French-Mexican chef Natalia Morales and entrepreneur Javier Ezquerro, the fast-growing Madrid-born brand has expanded across 17 countries with 290 signed franchises in cities including New York, Paris, London, Miami, and Mexico City. Now, it's bringing its signature take on frozen yogurt to Wellington Street.

What sets MYKA apart is its ingredient-first approach. Instead of relying on industrial powdered mixes, its frozen yogurt is made with authentic Greek yogurt and goat’s milk kefir, using live cultures and strained yogurt to achieve a rich, creamy texture. The Hong Kong flagship follows the same standards as its international stores, sourcing premium ingredients such as Sicilian pistachios, Madagascar vanilla, orange blossom honey, and high-quality cocoa.

The new Central location also houses an in-house production kitchen, where both the frozen yogurt and toppings are prepared fresh daily. Alongside the Original Greek Frozen Yogurt, customers can expect rotating seasonal flavors and a lineup of house-made toppings including fleur de sel chocolate crumble, reduced-sugar baklava, praliné crunch, and artisanal fruit compotes.

PAN de PAIN & Ovaltine Team Up for a Nostalgic, Chocolatey Pancake Treat

Pan de Pain 6

If Ovaltine was a staple of your childhood, you'll want to make a beeline for PAN de PAIN. Hong Kong's first soufflé pancake shop has teamed up with the chocolate drink mix brand for a limited-time collaboration that packs all those familiar choco-malt flavors into a seriously indulgent dessert.

The star of the menu is the Ovaltine Crunchy Soufflé Pancake (HK$128), which takes PAN de PAIN's signature cloud-like pancakes and loads them with Ovaltine cream sauce, Ovaltine syrup, chewy mochi, crunchy Ovaltine bits, and a drizzle of chocolate sauce. Every bite is a mix of soft, chewy, creamy, and crunchy textures, with that unmistakable Ovaltine flavor running through it all.

And because no Ovaltine-inspired treat is complete without a drink, the collaboration also includes Ovaltine with Creamy Milk Foam (HK$68). Rich, creamy, and topped with silky milk foam, it's the perfect companion to the pancakes.

If you're planning to go all in, the Ovaltine Crunchy Soufflé Pancake Set (HK$178) is also available to let you enjoy both together.

McDonald’s x G-DRAGON Brings New Burgers & Exclusive Merch to Hong Kong

Just weeks before G-DRAGON’s highly anticipated return to Hong Kong for BIGBANG's three-day concert at Kai Tak Stadium this November, the K-pop icon is giving fans another reason to line up, this time at McDonald’s. The fast-food giant has officially launched its collaboration with G-DRAGON and his fashion label PEACEMINUSONE, bringing a Korean-inspired menu and a collection of limited-edition merch to the city as part of a rollout spanning 13 Asian markets.

The food lineup centers on a new Gochujang Butter Sauce developed by McDonald’s Korea. In Hong Kong, fans can try it in the new McCrispy with Gochujang Butter Sauce, which pairs a crispy Cajun-seasoned chicken thigh fillet with the sweet, savory, and spicy Korean-inspired sauce. The sauce is also available as a dip for Chicken McNuggets. Meanwhile, those who prefer extra heat can opt for the McSpicy burger version.

Of course, the collaboration extends beyond burgers. Diners can upgrade to the Jumbo Combo series for an extra HK$9.50, which includes large McShaker Fries with Korean Bulgogi or Honey Butter seasoning powder and a Jeju Mandarin Punch with Mini Nata de Coco.

For dessert, there’s an OREO McFlurry with Sweetheart and Bite-sized Salted Caramel Churros. Selected items also arrive in packaging decorated with PEACEMINUSONE’s signature daisy motif, complete with the missing petal.

Collectors will want to mark their calendars, too, as limited "I’M M FAN" collector cards will drop on Sept. 21 from 11 AM, followed by exclusive merchandise on Sept. 23 from 11 AM.

The merch lineup includes the same retro cap seen in G-DRAGON’s "TOO BAD" music video, a set of enamel pins showcasing the MCD heart logo, McDonald’s fries, and the PEACEMINUSONE daisy, plus a tote bag combining the Golden Arches with PEACEMINUSONE branding.

Mid-Autumn K-Festival Brings Korean Food & Culture to Central Market

A taste of Korea is coming to the heart of Central this Mid-Autumn Festival season as Mid-Autumn K-Festival Week takes over Central Market from Sept. 21-27, 2026. Inspired by Korea's Chuseok harvest celebrations, the week-long festival brings together Korean food, culture, beauty, music, and interactive experiences across all three floors of the historic venue.

Food is firmly at the center of the festivities, with the G/F Oasis welcoming visitors to enjoy free K-food tastings, live cooking shows, celebrity chef appearances, sunset music sessions, guest bartender shifts, K-pop DJ parties, and taekwondo performances throughout the week.

One of the biggest draws is the Hong Kong debut of Monk Sunjae, the Korean Temple Food master featured on Netflix's "Culinary Class Wars " Season 2, who will host a live demonstration and share her philosophy of food as medicine through traditional temple cuisine on Sept. 24.

The star-studded culinary lineup continues with Netflix stars Chef Park Joon-woo and Chef Lim Hee-won, who will showcase French-Korean fusion dishes and modern takes on Korean ingredients on Sept. 26 and 27, respectively.

Visitors can also sign up for hands-on masterclasses with local chefs including Chef Jun, who will teach participants how to make Crab Meat Gimbap and a seasonal Korean fruit tart, and Chef Owen Lau, who is known for his creative Hong Kong-meets-Korea interpretations.

On top of these, guests can also expect free 1++ Hanwoo beef tastings, Yoajung frozen yogurt giveaways by completing a quest card, K-beauty workshops with samples and giveaways, a marketplace on the second floor featuring trending Korean brands and products, traditional Bojagi gift wrapping, and a festive Full Moon Party on Sept. 25.

Most activities are free of charge, with some requiring a HK$100 deposit (to be refunded upon checking in) via Eventbrite. For updates and more information, follow Mid-Autumn K-Festival and aT Center Hong Kong (Korea Agro-Fisheries and Food Trade Corporation) on Instagram.
