Carlsberg Unveils Special Can and Fun Events for HK Sevens Farewell Match

Raise a toast alongside your favourite rugby players at the “Cathay/HSBC Hong Kong Sevens” grand farewell tournament happening from April 5 to 7 at the Hong Kong Stadium.

Carlsberg, the go-to beer for the Hong Kong Sevens, has teamed up with local digital artist Isaac Spellman to create exclusive can art for the event.

The limited-edition cans feature a blend of retro and pop styles, with bold colours and lines. It shows the Hong Kong Stadium's canopy and seating, capturing the excitement of rugby sevens. The can keeps Carlsberg's classic green colour and changes its slogan to show love for Hong Kong's rugby fans with the slogan “By appointment to the rugby fans of Hong Kong.”

To elevate the celebration, Carlsberg has extended a special invitation to two Liverpool FC players, David James and Sami Hyypiä to participate in the tournament’s festivities and showcase their skills. Joining them will be local rugby players Max Woodward and Kyle Sullivan.

Now available in convenience stores, you can buy one between March 4 and 27 for a chance to win tickets to the Hong Kong Sevens, meet the Liverpool FC legends, and receive an autographed limited-edition cooling towel.
