CAVALLUNA – Gate to the Otherworld

Europe’s celebrated equestrian spectacle is coming to Hong Kong to bring "CAVALLUNA – Gate to the Otherworld" on Sept. 8 and 10-13, 2026, at the Kai Tak Arena, Kai Tak Sports Park.
Making its Asian debut, this family-friendly production combines world-class horsemanship, theatrical storytelling, music, dance, and stunning visual effects to tell the magical journey of a young sorceress named Meerin. Audiences can look forward to breathtaking performances from 54 majestic horses across eight breeds, alongside internationally acclaimed riders, performers, dancers, and immersive stage design that has captivated millions across Europe.
Tickets range from HK$395 to HK$1,995, while VIP tables for six starts from HK$27,220.
Happy Wednesday: Fashion Wednesdays

Style, music, and horse racing come together at Happy Wednesday: Fashion Wednesdays on Sept. 9, 16, and 23, 2026, at Happy Valley Racecourse. The three-week series transforms the Beer Garden into a runway-inspired social hotspot where racegoers can enjoy live entertainment, fashion activations, gourmet food, cocktails, and thrilling midweek racing.
PENTHAŪS headlines the Happy Valley Racecourse Season Opening on Sept. 9, alongside a dazzling LED Lion Dance performance, while Natalia D takes the stage on Sept. 16, with a set packed with crowd favorites. The celebration wraps up on Sept. 23, with a performance by Rechelle Mansour, capping off the series with powerhouse vocals and high-energy entertainment.

'Mental . Behaviour . Capacity' by Sophie Cheung

Art, advocacy, and lived experience intersect in the “Mental. Behaviour. Capacity” exhibit, opening on Sept. 9, 2026, from 7 PM to 8:30 PM, at The Corner Shop, Mondrian Hong Kong.
Presented by Hong Kong artist and disability rights advocate Sophie Cheung, this thought-provoking multimedia exhibition uses everyday objects, video, painting, and participatory works to explore memory, identity, autonomy, and the ways people are understood within legal, medical, and social systems.
Drawing on more than a decade of disability rights advocacy, the exhibition invites visitors to reflect on human agency, inclusion, and the lasting traces people leave behind through a deeply personal and compelling body of work.
ReThink HK 2026: Asia's Hub for Climate Action & Sustainable Business Solutions

Sustainability takes the spotlight at ReThink HK 2026 on Sept. 10-11, 2026, at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC), Hall 1. One of Asia’s leading ESG and sustainability forums, the two-day event brings together business leaders, policymakers, investors, innovators, NGOs, and sustainability professionals to discuss climate action, net-zero strategies, responsible business practices, and the future of sustainable development.
Attendees can hear from more than 500 expert speakers and explore the Solutions Showcase Expo, featuring over 300 companies and organizations presenting technologies and services designed to accelerate the transition to a low-carbon future.

Halloween screams and supernatural thrills take over at Ocean Park Hong Kong Halloween Fest 2026 from Sept. 5 to Nov. 1, 2026. This year’s edition introduces The Grave Rave, transforming the park into a sprawling playground of fear with haunted attractions, roaming ghouls, immersive performances, and horror-themed experiences.
Brave guests can venture into Under the Castle Haunted Experience inspired by Jackson Wang’s fantasy IP, navigate the mind-bending Voodoo Boo Terror Park, uncover disturbing secrets in Forbidden Asylum, and explore the film-inspired Troublesome Night 8.
With more than 120 roaming creatures, cosplay events, themed performances, and spooky encounters around every corner, the festival delivers scares for every level of bravery. The Triple Terror Combo is priced at HK$238 on non-peak days and HK$280 on peak days.
WXV Global Series Challenger 2026

Women’s rugby takes center stage at WXV Global Series Challenger 2026 on Sept. 13, 19, and 26, 2026, at the Kai Tak Youth Sports Ground. Hosted by Hong Kong for the first time, this international tournament brings together Hong Kong China, Brazil, Fiji, Samoa, Spain, and the Netherlands for nine high-level matches across three triple-header match days.
Fans can watch Hong Kong China take on Brazil on Sept. 13, Fiji on Sept. 19, and Samoa on Sept. 26, with each home match kicking off at 3:30 PM. Beyond the action on the pitch, the event also features community initiatives and women’s rugby development programs.
Tickets start from HK$100 for children, HK$140 for students, and HK$180 for adults, while tournament packages covering all three rounds start from HK$250.
